Dorothy W. Marshall

Born Dorothy W. Kinder on November 18, 1923 in Severna Park, MD to the late Herman and Amelia Kinder (nee Yonkee) and a lifetime resident of the area. She was a homemaker as well as retiring as a custodian with the Anne Arundel Board of Education. She was a member of Glen Lutheran Church for many years. Mrs. Marshall enjoyed bowling, flowers, baking, family dinners, decorating her home for Christmas and Easter. In addition to her parents Dorothy she is preceded in death by her husband John Arthur Marshall and a daughter Gail E. Marshall and her brother Roland Mike Kinder. She is survived by children Wayne J. Marshall of Severna Park, John Arthur Marshall of Mayo, Linda W. Marshall of New Church, VA, Darlene J. Rider of Brooklyn Park, Barbara A. Marshall of Glen Burnie, Cynthia Johnston of Delaware,  sisters Fern Carlino of Pasadena, Violet Thieman of Baltimore and Jeannette Smith of North Carolina.
She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with two on the way.  She passed away peacefully at the Hospice of the Chesapeake Inpatient Center surrounded by her family.
