Dorothy Joyce Mewshaw

Dorothy Joyce Mewshaw was born October 25, 1937 to the late Joseph and Lena Richards. Mrs. Mewshaw was a longtime resident of Glen Burnie and worked for over 30 years as an Administrative Assistant for the Board of Veterinarians.In her free time she enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, the beach, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, anything involving Disney, and decorating her home every year from top to bottom for the Christmas holidays.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Joseph Mewshaw, Sr., her son Robert Joseph Mewshaw, Jr. and his wife Donna Mewshaw, siblings June Coleman, and Eileen Heier. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Rhonda Rudiger and her husband Robert "Mike", sister Linda sue Sinclair, grandchildren Ryan Rudiger and his wife Bridget, Alena Daily and her husband Ryan, Jason Mewshaw, Robert Mewshaw, III and his wife Tiffany, Hope Mewshaw and her fiance Allen Whitecotton, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her lifelong best friend Mary Louise Schroeder.

Mrs. Mewshaw passed away August 13, 2019 at her home after battling a lengthy illness. She will be missed by all who knew her.
