Earl F. Sipes Sr.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1923 to Mr. Jesse Joshua Sipes and Mrs. Bertha Broglie Sipes. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Gertrude Brunner Sipes. Mr. Sipes lived in Woodlawn for 47 years and was a clerk with the B&O Railroad during his working life. He served in the Army from 1942-1946. Earl was active in St. Gabriels Catholic Church and enjoyed walking, music and spending time with his loving family. He is survived by 5 sons, Earl F. Sipes, Jr.of Owings Mills, Robert L. Sipes of New York, Thomas L. Sipes of Ellicott City, Michael P. Sipes of Pasadena,Kenneth J. Sipes of Mount Airy, and 3 daughters, Nancy L. Romero of Catonsville, Susan M. Warner of Belleair Beach, Fl, Carol A. Sipes of Tarpon Springs, FL. Mr. Sipes is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren. He passed away peacefully at Gilchrest Hospice of Howard County after a brief illness.
