Edith J. Birchfield Ray

Born Edith J. Case in Johnson City, TN to Carlis Case and Edna Campbell Nichols. A homemaker, she was a resident of Severn for over 70 years. A member of the Severn Full Gospel Pentacostal Church she enjoyed sketching, cooking, baking and preserving her own jellies and jams. She is survived by her children Gerald L. Birchfield of Severn, Christopher E. Birchfield of Fla., Gary R. Birchfield of Fla., Wanda L. Birchfield of Florida. In addition to her parents she is preceeded in death by her first husband Earl S. Birchfield and her second husband Lloyd Frank Ray. Her children Robert J. Birchfield, John E. Birchfield and Gloria Jewell Birchfield, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. ________________________________________
