Edith Marie "Maw" was born November 30, 1928 in Texas and has lived in Glen Burnie for the past 56 years. She and her husband were the owners of A&A Vending company until the company was sold upon her husband's death. She was a very active volunteer with NCEON for many years. In earlier years Maw enjoyed travel, hunting, fishing. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking, but she treasured the time she spent with family and her many friends. Mrs. Hardt was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Bradford Hardt, sons William D. and Thomas Bradford Hardt, Jr. She is survived by her loving life partner Bill Hoenig of Glen Burnie, daughter in law Sharron Geisler of Edgewater, grandchildren Brad Hardt of Argyle, Texas, Fran Hardt Lonergan of Pasadena, Amanda Hardt of Saratoga Springs, NY as well as great-grandchildren Wade and Meg Lonergan and Savanna and Lyla Hardt. She passed away on Dec. 21 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a sudden illness.
