Born Edith L. Turner in Baltimore on October 22, 1934 to the late John and Lenora (Bulgen) Turner. Edith Seifert was a lifelong resident of Baltimore. She worked as a secretary for the University Of Maryland School Of Nursing for over 25 years. She always made sure her home was clean and ready for visitors. In her free time, Edith enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens, taking casino trips, traveling, shopping, and doing crossword puzzles. She would get to know everyone she encountered, even those in line with her at the grocery store. Edith was one of three children, a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Edith L. Seifert passed away peacefully on May 5, 2021. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Walter Seifert, daughter Denise Mister and her brother John Jacob Turner, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Dennis Seifert and his wife Linda, sister Mary Lou Young, niece and Goddaughter Donna Thorn, Godson Michael Thorn, Jr., six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
