On December 13, 2022, Edna O. (Harman) Jarrell died peacefully and went home to be with the Lord. Edna was born in Floyd County Virginia on June 16, 1931, to Stuart and Dada (Weeks) Harman. She graduated from Willis High School in Willis, Virginia. She was a member of Baywood Wesleyan Church in Galax, Virginia. She enjoyed attending church and singing the traditional hymns. Edna had a special talent for sewing, crocheting and raising African Violets. Spending time with family and friends was a great joy to her.
Edna is preceded by her parents, Stuart and Dada (Weeks) Harman; husband, "Roy" Nelson Jarrell; son, Roy N. Jarrell, Jr and siblings, Sammy Harman, Billy Joe Harman, Virgie Nester, as well as 17 half brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Brenda J. Young (William) of Salisbury, Nancy E. Mason (Ralph) of Glen Burnie, Julie Jarrell Sharma (Roop) of Hanover and Ronald B. Jarrell of Virginia; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service Saturday, December 17th at 11:00am at Topeco Cemetery, Floyd, Virginia.
