On September 21, 2013, Edward J. McCready, 81, of York, PA passed away. He served in the Navy and enjoyed baseball, football, and Navy stories. Beloved husband of the late Mary A. McCready (nee Brown). Devoted father of Edward G. McCready of Linthicum, Gerald McCready of Glen Burnie, Sheila A. Frech of Red Lion, PA and Kathleen M. Klimaszewski of York, PA. Dear brother of Dorothy Gardner, Mary Andresky, Isabell Kutz and Sheila Frantz. Grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 8. In addition to his wife, Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Julia (nee Moore) McCready and sister, Rosemarie Ashman.
