Edwin Lawrence Puckett, Sr.

Edwin Lawrence Puckett, Sr., a resident of Anne Arundel County for over 56 years, passed away on February 14, 2015. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Melvin and Alice (Speedy) Puckett on October 26, 1932. Edwin was a steel worker for Bethlehem Steel and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, Masonic Oriental Lodge 158 and a lifetime member of the VFW. Mr. Puckett enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards and also horseshoes. Edwin loved all kinds of music especially Jazz, dancing, playing the drums and harmonica. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marilyn (Burnham) Puckett of Glen Burnie; daughter, Evelyn Grace VanVranken of Queenstown; son, Edwin Lawrence, Jr. of Glen Burnie; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
