Elfriede Martha Ziegler

Born Elfriede Martha Schnurpheil in Ebersdorf, Germany of August 1, 1924 to Herbert and Elsa Schnurpfeil (nee Birn) and a resident of Glen Burnie for 45 Years. A homemaker, Mrs. Ziegler enjoyed Flowers, Gardening, all sorts of crafts, Bavarian music and movies and the mountains. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Barona C. Ziegler who passed away in 2005. She would return to Germany every year to see her family until her health would not allow it.  She is survived by son John Willibald of Germany, daughter Linda Wiggins of Glen Burnie and grandchildren Heidi Latau and Christopher Weber as well as 6 great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Care Center of Hospice of the Chesapeake.
