Obituary

Elizabeth “Betty” Robinson, 95 of Glen Burnie, Md passed away on Monday May 4, 2026 in Brooksville, Fl. Betty was born in Baltimore, Md on Feb 20, 1931, to Nicholas and Elizabeth Krick.

Her early years were spent on Cooksie Street in Baltimore before moving to Millersville, Md. with her family. She enjoyed spending her time with best friend Elva Mae Carr ice skating on a near by lake. After getting married, she lived at the family-owned Bowie Inn in Bowie, Md before settling down on Buckingham Dr in Glen Burnie in the late 1950’s.

Her and her husband raised their three children in Glen Burnie where she also worked at Hutzler’s for many years. She also worked at North Arundel Convalescent Center and Quala Care Daycare. Throughout the years, Betty enjoyed her family, her many dogs, working in her yard and a good high ball or a Coor’s light beer. On Friday nights, you would often find her on the dance floor at The American Legion or Moose lodge. She was also the true definition of a caregiver, caring for several loved ones in their time of need. Betty remained in her Glen Burnie home until 2023 before moving to Florida.

Betty is predeceased by her husband Harry Richard Robinson; her son Nicholas Harry Robinson; her daughter Carol Lee White and her long-time companion Richard Cheicis. Betty is survived by her son Richard Wayne Robinson (Malena) of Ridge Manor, Fl; her granddaughters Stephanie Gonzalez (Jerry) of Brooksville, Fl, Cassandra Purcell (Chance) of Middle River, Md, her three great- grandsons Jeremy and Dominick Gonzalez and Nicholas Purcell as well as her chocolate lab, Jordan.

Interment will be Friday, May 15th, 1:00pm at Crownsville MD Veterans Cemetery,  1122 Sunrise Beach Road Crownsville, MD 21032.
