Ellen Spence Wakeham

She was born Ellen Spence Thompson on August 2, 1941 in Belfast, Northern Ireland and she has been a resident of Severn, MD for the past 20 years. She enjoyed a long and successful career with Bank of America where she worked for 42 years rising to the level of Vice President. Following her retirement she worked as the manager of an apartment complex in Glen Burnie. She enjoyed travel and with her husband took over 130 cruises. Ellen greatly enjoyed her almost yearly trips back to Ireland to visit family. She enjoyed knitting, baking and was an excellent cook of both Irish and Mexican food. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wakeham is preceded by her infant son Anthony Joseph Wakeham and her sister Jacqueline McCabe. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 56 years Gerald J. Wakeham of Severn, daughter Jacqueline Anne Morris of Vista, CA, brother Raymond Thompson of Ireland and cherished grandchildren Alexis and Caitlin Morris.
