Elmer D. Gosnell, Jr., 59, Glen Burnie resident, died Friday, October 30, 2015. Born to the late Elmer David Gosnell, Sr. and Dorothy "Dot" E. (Blanchard) Kinnard on April 27, 1956 in Baltimore, Md. Elmer lived with his mother his entire life. He was very involved with the Boy Scouts and loved to draw and doodle. He was a "History Buff", very good with a rifle and was never seen without his pipe in hand; especially at the reenactments. It was a "family event" being involved with the Revolutionary Soldiers and St. Mary's Mulisha; reenactments of the 1600th & 1700th period. Elmer LOVED being Dracula every year for Halloween and even participated in scaring the kids in the neighborhood by being the mummy in the coffin. It was not unusual for him also to be "Santa" for the little ones at Christmas time. He is preceded by his father and his siter, Elizabeth A. Collins. Elmer is survived by his mother, Dorothy "Dot" E. (Blanchard) Kinnard of Glen Burnie; brother, Ronald W. Gosnell of Glen Burnie; sisters, Janice M. Silver of Randallstown, Cathy J. Bradel of Annapolis, Dorothy "Dottie" A. Maurice of Catonsville, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service Thursday, 10am at the funeral home. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
