Ernest T. Nittinger Iii

Ernest T. Nittinger, III, passed away on September 5, 2015. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ernest T. and Margaret (Mullen) Knitting, II. Ernest was a chemist who worked at Chemlog for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Shuffle Board League Post 277 for many years. Ernest loved baseball especially watching the Orioles. He is survived by his step-son, Craig Ott of Michigan; step-daughters, Debbie Lembach and her husband Gerald of Pasadena, Cheryl Travers of Glen Burnie, Kylene Connor of Glen Burnie; 12 step-children and 17 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, June E. (Spindler) Nittinger and step-son, Glenn Ott. Friends and family may gather for a graveside service, Monday, September 14, 2015 11:30 AM at Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
