Ethel R. Walls

Born Ethel R. Melton in Chester, SC to the late William and Leola Melton (nee Love). She was a resident of the Arbutus and Catonsville area for the past 30 years, moving from South Baltimore. During her working life she was a Fiscal Clerk for the state of Maryland. Ethel enjoyed travel, crochet, reading, crosswords and gardening in her spare time. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband John E. Walls, Sr. as well as 11 brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her children John E. Walls, Jr. of Stuart, FL, Theodore W. Walls of Topsail, NC, Michael D. Walls of Pasadena, Donald E. Walls of Baltimore, Connie R. Marinelli of Arbutus, Donna J. Beadenkopf of Pasadena and Susan D. Price of Apple Valley, MN. She is also survived by brother Harold Melton of Chester, SC, sisters Lillie Friendly, Margaret Mobley and Dot Wattenbarger, all of Chester, SC in addition to nine loving grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Mrs Walls passed away peacefully on Easter morning at the Brightview Assisted Living Center in Catonsville and her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.
