Ethel May Young
March 31, 1944 — August 20, 2013
Ethel May Young (nee Wood), lifetime resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 20, 2013. Ethel was a Media Specialist for the Anne Arundel County Board of Education for over 40 years and was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church who sang in their church choir and was also Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, crocheting and sewing. Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, Edward H. Young, Sr.; 3 sons, Edward H. Young, Jr., Michael B. Young, and Jeffrey P. Young; sister, Ellen E. Miller; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and her dog "Krinkles". Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Wood and Mary C. Wood (nee Fisher), and brother, Gilbert W. Wood, Jr.
