Evelyn M. Childers

Evelyn M. "Dottie" Childers was born in Baltimore on Jan. 28, 1936 and lived in the Severn area for over 50 years. A homemaker, she was an active member of the Laurel Boat Club and very much enjoyed time spent there. She was also a NASCAR fan with Tony Stewart being her favorite driver, a Redskins fan, and she enjoyed dining out. Dottie was especially fond of steamed crabs and lobster. She is survived by her children Skip Farmer of Pasadena, Mike Farmer of Glen Burnie, Dave Farmer of Severn, Billy Farmer of Odenton, Kimberly Farmer-Weed of Crofton and Kelly Merson fo Severn, her longtime companion Douglas Weatherly of Severn and seven adoring grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her husband Vernon Childers.
