Florence M. Baker

Florence May Baker was born on June 1, 1925 in England to the late Samuel David and Ethel May Wedlock Rickard and has lived in the United States since 1944. She lived in the Brooklyn area until moving to Greenwood DE. seven years ago.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time knitting, cooking, reading, planting flowers and taking walks. But the joy of her life was spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Norman Baker, brothers Billy and Henry and sister Eileen.  Left to cherish her memories are her seven children Marlene Gallery (Dave), Ronald Baker (Debbie), Beverly Arentz (Mike),  Gregory Baker (Becky), Derek Baker (Karen), Cheryl Breidenbach (Ronald) and Pam Huntzberry (Bruce).  She is also survived by three sisters Pauline, Ethel and Irene of England as well as 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great- grandchildren.
