She was born Florinia J. Dinglas on July 28, 1953 in the Philippines to the late Victoriano and Digna Dinglas and emigrated to the United States in 1971. She trained to be a nurse in the Philippines and had many diverse occupations during her working life. She enjoyed cooking, singing, shopping and was known as a meticulous housekeeper. In addition to her parents, Florinia is preceded by her husband, Alfredo C. Cercado. Left to cherish her memory are her children Alfredo V. Cercado, Jr. (Christina) of Millersville, Michael D. Cercado ( Jeniper) of California and Maliza C. Kromel (Christopher) of South Carolina. She is also survived by 11 siblings, Emmy, Cel, Bien, Jun, Armin, Maru, Ted, Bev, Ronnie, Jhe and Ochie, her 8 grandchildren, Alfredo 3rd, Destiny, Tyler, Micko, Chloe, Sebastian, Tristan, Anazstazia and great-granddaughter , Rylynn with one on the way. She had a strong bond with her Niece Maria Victoria and Her Nephews Arvin and Edwin. Her daughter Maliza and Husband Christopher cared for her in South Carolina prior to her last wishes to venture back to her hometown Baltimore, Maryland where her and her husband, Alfredo raised their children just days prior to her passing. She passed away peacefully at Accentcare Hospice at Medstar Harbor Hospital surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness. She was caring and endearing to all she had the pleasure to acquaint. She was loved by so many family and friends.
