Floyd Oliver Leake

Floyd Oliver Leake, a resident of Severn since 2011, passed away on October 29, 2015. Born in Missouri to the late Elmer and Hattie (Clevenger) Leake in January of 1922. Floyd was a mail carrier for the Colorado Post Office during his working years. Mr. Leake loved to travel the US which he did for 2 years and lived in several different states such as Colorado, Arizona and Missouri where he enjoyed fishing. He loved to fish, garden, read and always good for a laugh. Although he was quiet and reserved he was very quick with a comeback. Mr. Leake is survived by his sons, Roy E. Leake of Maryland, Floyd Leon Leake of Atlanta; grandchildren, Ashley, Regina, Amanda; great grandchildren, Etta, Vivian, Lilliana and Oaklyday. Services for Mr. Leake will be celebrated privately with his family.
