Francis "Fudd" Joseph Thompkins, Jr.

February 14, 1958 — March 24, 2024

Millersville

On Sunday, March 24, 2024, Francis "Fudd" Joseph Thompkins, Jr., 66, Millersville resident, died peacefully under hospice care with his wife by his side. Fudd was born on Friday, February 14, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Francis Joseph and Ernestine Yvonne (Johnson) Thompkins, Sr. Fudd graduated from Marley Glen School in 1979 and remained here in Maryland his entire life. He was employed with ARA Food Service for several years and worked with the vending machines. When his working years were over, Fudd would spend his time with his grandbabies. He enjoyed his favorite snacks, the Tastykake Kandy Kakes and the Butterscotch Krimpets. Fudd also enjoyed the Sweet Tea and fish sandwich from McDonalds. He really enjoyed them during an Orioles and/or Ravens game but he never really needed a reason to eat them. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a big jokester with the biggest heart. He had never met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone. Fudd will be missed by so many, but he will be greatly missed by his family.

Fudd is preceded by his parents, Francis Joseph Thompkins, Sr. and Ernestine Yvonne (Johnson) Aten. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Beverley Lynn (Rawlings) Thompkins of Millersville; his children, Tara Lynn Kendall and husband James of Halethorpe and Anthony Michael Thompkins and wife Rachel of Dundalk; his siblings, Debbie Fischer of Millersville, Glenn Thompkins of Glen Burnie, Yvonne Phelps of Glen Burnie and his 3 “grandbabies” Cheyenne, Jaelyn and Journey.

Services and Interment will be private.
