Francis Vernon Lien

Francis V. Lien, a Glen Burnie resident, passed away on February 1, 2015. Born in North Dakota to the late Francis Benoni and Lorie (nee Shields) Lien. Francis was a sheet metal worker and a Navy WWII Veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and also a member of the Moose Lodge. While in Nevada he worked as an EMT. Francis enjoyed helping veterans, working and playing cards. He also liked traveling and had visited every state. Mr. Lien is survived by his sons, Gregory Lien of Linthicum, Jeffrey Lien of Linthicum, Brian Lien of Glen Burnie; daughter, Bonnie Edens of FL; brothers, Wally, Darrell; sister, Bernita; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Francis is preceded in death by his great-grandchild Jaime Annis.
