Francis J. Zaukus

Born August 3, 1935 in Annapolis, MD to the late Frank and Margaret Zaukus (nee Haber) and a lifetime resident of the Glen Burnie and Severn area. Mr. Zaukus worked for 44 Years at the Nevamar Plant in Odenton. Honorably discharged after 14 years with the Maryland National Guard. In his spare time Mr. Zaukus enjoyed Fishing, Crabbing, Watching TV and he was an avid Raven's fan. But the joy in his life was time spent with his family on family vacations or watching his grandsons sporting events which he rarely missed. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Carrie M. Zaukus (nee Siebert) of Glen Burnie as well as his daughter Stephanie L. Darroch and her husband Timothy P. Darroch of Severn along with their sons Hunter P. and Gavin P. Darroch. Mr. Zaukus is also survived by brothers Joseph Zaukus of Tennessee, Anthony Zaukus and William Zaukus of Severn along with sisters Marge Sorensen of Linthicum and Dorothy Zaukus of Severn. He passed away suddenly and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
