Frank Aaron Wood

Frank Aaron Wood, 70, resident of Millersville, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Frank was born on Tuesday, September 1, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland to William T. and Thelma (Hardesty) Wood, Sr. He went to Severna Park High School and then began working. He was a self-employed Carpenter who took his work seriously. Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, drinking and having fun with his buddies in his earlier years. After he married Sharon in 1980, and started a family, he slowed down and was more of a homebody. He really enjoyed watching UFC or MMA fights. He also enjoyed time with the family. He will be missed.

Frank is preceded by his parents, William T. Wood, Sr. and Thelma (Hardesty) Wood; and his siblings, William "Billy" Wood and Thelma Clark. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Marie (Phillips) Wood; his children, William Frank Wood and his wife, Elizabeth of Glen Burnie and Jessica Marie Griffin and her husband, Jesse of Glen Burnie; and his grandchildren, Aydan and Breanna Wood and Joshua and Dylan Burgess.

Family and friends may gather at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 4:00pm-7:00pm. Memorial service, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment is Private.
