Franklin R. Sunstrom, Sr. was born on December 24, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Franklin and Mary Louise Garnett Sunstrom and he was a lifetime resident of the northern Anne Arundel County. During his working life he was a payroll clerk for CSX Railroad. He served in the Army during the ‘60’s. He was a graduate of Brooklyn Park High School. Mr. Sunstrom enjoyed photography, model trains, playing Uno and Monopoly with friends and family. He loved to travel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Ellen Smeltzer. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years Jerri A. Lit Sunstrom, son Franklin R. ”Rusty” Sunstrom, Jr. (Michelle), daughter Laurie Pemleton (Kenny). He is also survived by cherished grandchildren Natalie Guerin, Jacque, Bridgette & Nevin Sunstrom, sister-in-law, Nina Nozemack, nieces Wendy Gentry, Nicole Reed and Tracey Brunelle and nephew John Nozemack.
