George Bryan

On December 6, 2011, George Bryan of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, George moved to Baltimore after serving his country in the U.S. Army. A hair stylist, he worked for over 40 years for Andre's on Charles Street in Baltimore. George enjoyed bowling and tending to his vegetable garden. He often traveled with his wife and they attended over 50 of his Army division reunions, which were held all over the United States. George is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Theodora (Dorothy) W. Bryan (nee Stewart); beloved daughters Judith A. Brandland of Annapolis and Janet Rathmell of Clearwater, Florida; cherished grandchildren Kelly Supko, Jason Haynes and Stacey Fruhling; Adoring great-grandchildren Emma Haynes and Megan, Melanie and Molly Supko. He was predeceased by his son Gregory J. Bryan and three siblings.
