George Kenneth "Bud" Mcdonald

George Kenneth “Bud” McDonald was born October 4, 1933 in Concord, North Carolina to the late William and Annie Foster McDonald. He was a resident of Jessup for the past 17 years, moving from Deep Creek, MD. He was a carpenter by trade. Bud enjoyed wood working, playing cornhole and was described by his family as a “girl dad” and a grillmaster who was an excellent cook. He was a hardworking man who was still working at Sam’s Club handing out samples at the age of 91.  In addition to his parents he is proceeded by his beloved wife Helen Virginia Quick McDonald, his son Kenneth William McDonald and his 8 brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Shirley D. Jarrell of Jessup, Deborah A. Smith of South Carolina, Jennifer G. Fake and Theda M. O’Brien both of Pasadena. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
