George Wayne Conrad
August 1, 1950 — November 10, 2016
George Wayne Conrad, a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, passed away November 10, 2016. Born to the late John H. and Marie C. Conrad in Baltimore, Maryland. George worked as an Iron Worker for 41 years.
He enjoyed gardening, decorating and hanging lights for Christmas, his motorcycle, his car, watching the Orioles, the Ravens, Jeopardy, baseball, wrestling and Nascar. Most of all he loved spending time with his dogs, his family and living a life dedicated to the lord.
Left to cherish his memory is wife of 47 years Mary Ellen Conrad, daughter Jennifer Myers and husband Wayne, daughter Christie Blevins and husband Ryan, Sr., grandchildren Kevin, Justin, Ashlynn, Brittany, Ryan, Jr. and Brian, Jr., great grandson James Leland, great granddaughter Aubrey, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He is preceded in death by daughter Angela Renee Conrad, son Todd Anthony Conrad, Brother John Conrad and grandson James Tyler Darroch.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Corner Stone Bible Church, 1727 Maple Avenue Hanover, MD 21076, where a Funeral Service will be held during the second viewing at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to BARCS Animal Rescue and Shelter or the National Kidney Foundation.Service Schedule
