George A. Mccormick

George A. McCormick, 51, a Glen Burnie resident, died on September 1, 2009 at John Hopkins Hospital following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Washington, D.C. on September 14, 1957.  George grew up in Oxon Hill, was active in the Oxon Hill boys and Girls Club and graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 1975 and completed 2 years of college. George was self employed as a consultant. He enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, being at the beach and most importantly, spending time with his sons.  He was an avid Redskins fan.  George is survived by his sons, Perry W., Kyle R., and Aaron C. McCormick all of Glen Burnie; mother, Marjorie F. McCormick of Oxon Hill; sisters, Cheryl Andrews of Baltimore and Mary McCormick of Accokeek; and his brother Mark McCormick of Prince Frederick. George was predeceased by his father, Perry McCormick.
