George Logan Milligan, 74, died on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Costal Hospice on the Lake. A resident of Toddville, Maryland for the past 16 years, previously from Hanover, MD. George was born on March 26, 1935 in Covington, Kentucky. He joined the Army National Guard in 1953 followed by the Air Force from 1954-1958.
George worked for Katema - Special Filaments Division, as a machine operator for 35 years before retiring in 1994 following heart surgery. He also volunteered in the Fire Brigade. George enjoyed playing bingo, working in his yard, wrestling, fishing, and travel.
George is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Loretta Kay (nee Johnson) of Toddville; devoted sons, David Milligan of Glen Burnie and his wife, Lisa and Jim Milligan and his wife Barbara; grandchildren, Brian Milligan, Kevin Milligan, Amy Milligan, Angela Macy and Amanda Macy; and great-grandchild, Jordan Macy. George was predeceased by his parents, Louise (nee Whitney) and George Milligan, Sr.
