Gertrude P. Kuyawa

Born Gertrude P. Hoffman in Baltimore, Maryland on April 22, 1921 to the late George Henry and Margaret Hoffman  She was a longtime resident of Essex before moving to Millersville in 1988. She had worked both as a waitress and as a riveter for Glenn L. Martin during WWII. She enjoyed cooking, cherished time with her family and cleaning her home.  She is formerly a member of St. Clare's  Catholic Church in Essex when she lived there.
In addition to her parents Gertrude was preceded in death by her beloved husband George W. Kuyawa (Chief) Baltimore County F.D.)  She is survived by her daughter Patricia M. Stovall of Millersville, grandchildren Patricia Langyher (Larry), Donna Steinberg (Larry) and Thomas Stovall as well as great-grandchildren Melisa Pascal(Ben), Christina Howland, Rebecca Morrison (Patrick) and Rachel Steinberg.  She passed away peacefully in her home on March 24 and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
