Gilda Julieta (Roche) Jobst was born on Tuesday, June 6, 1959, in Tiquizate, escuintla Guatemala to Domingo Roche and Maria Elvia Muñoz Alvarado. Gilda came to the United States in 1992 and received her citizenship in 2019. She worked as an assembler for Powercon Corporation in Severn for over 17 years. She loved to work, and she was a hard worker. Gilda loved to cook food, especially Guatemalan dishes. Her family will miss her.

Gilda is preceded by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Loren "Larry" Barrie Jobst of Glen Burnie; her children, Marcia E. Gomez Roche of Pasadena, William J. Gomez Roche of Glen Burnie and Ronaldo A. Gomez Roche of Glen Burnie; siblings, Cesar Roche, Milvia Roche and Mirza Roche; and loving grandmother of 8.

Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, 1-3pm and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 10:00am from the funeral home. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
