Gladys Mary Hens

She was born Gladys Mary Hartman on January 3, 1960 in Buffalo, NY to the late Albert S. Hartman, Sr. and Hilda M. Blowey Hartman. She grew up in Alden and is a 1978 graduate of Alden High School. Gladys had three A.A. degrees that were all associated with her profession as a legal secretary.  She was a member of the Legal Secretaries Association as well as a member of Abundant Life Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the church choir. She enjoyed crochet and sewing, reading, doing word puzzles and sodukos, and singing. Gladys was a fan of watching crime dramas. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Michael L. Hens, daughter Samantha M. Hens and son Sean M. Hens, all of Glen Burnie.  She is also survived by brothers Kevin and Albert S. Hartman, Jr. of Cheektowaga, NY, Norman Hartman of upstate New York, Gary Hartman of New Jersey and sister Sandra Hartman of West Seneca, NY.  She passed away peacefully at Baltimore Washington Medical Center following a lengthy struggle with her health.
