Glenn C. Mcmannis

On May 22, 2009, Glenn C. “Mac” McMannis of Glen Burnie passed away at home from natural causes.  Born in Ohio on February 3, 1928, Mac lived in Glen Burnie since 1964. Beloved husband of 21 years to Mary K. McMannis; Devoted father of Roberta, Loretta and Patricia; Caring brother of Evelyn Connors of Ohio; Cherished grandfather of 4, great-grandfather of three and great-great grandfather of one.  He is predeceased by his parents Jesse and Marie McMannis and three brothers and one sister.

Mac served as a Supply Officer in the United States Army until retiring after 22 years. He then worked for Westinghouse as Security Police for another 22 years before retiring again.  He belonged to the American Legion Post 40 and the Glen Burnie Elks.  He loved to go fishing and crabbing with his wife and loved his dogs, Buttons and Bows.
