Gloria Dawn Arnold, 87 of Pasadena, MD peacefully transitioned to everlasting life and into the arms of her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on February 12, 2026.
Gloria was born on January 12, 1939, to Mildred Grace (nee Dodson) and Henry Hoskins near Beckley, WV.
Gloria was the second of 3 children. Her 2 brothers, Sherril Hoskins and Erland (Jack) Hoskins predeceased her.
At the age of ten, Gloria went to live with her grandparents, after the death of her father, Henry Hoskins.
Gloria attended God’s Bible School in Cincinnati, OH in the mid 1950’s. She moved to Maryland in 1964 to look for work, she found a job with the McKessen Drug Company in customer relations.
In June 1986 she married Randolph Hill, a co-worker, they were married until his death in May 1979.
In November 1981 she married Russell F. Connelly, they were married until his death in 1991.
Gloria attending the Oakwood Wesleyan Church in Glen Burnie in the mid 1990’s where she played the organ, sang in the choir and taught Junior boys in Sunday School.
Gloria retired from McKessen Drug Company shortly before her marriage to Bill Arnold in the Spring of 2007. She informed Bill that based on her previous marriages that he had 10 years to live.
Gloria was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s in 2018. In the spring of 2019 after the doors of Oakwood Wesleyan Church were closed, she and Bill transferred their membership to Grace Point Community Church of the Nazarene.
Gloria was well known for her collection of frogs. When she moved in with Bill, he commented that he knew how they must have felt in Egypt when frogs came.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to all those that helped with their prayers, support and for just being there for Gloria and Bill.
Family and Friends may visit at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, 5:00pm - 7:00pm and at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, February 19, 2026, 10:00am - 11:00am. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00. Interment immediately following at Glen Haven Memorial Park .
