Glover Michael Downes

Glover Michael Downes, a Glen Burnie resident since 1995, passed away on August 13, 2014. Born in Baltimore to the late John F. and Mary Claire (Rice) Downes. Glover was a Welding Contractor for Downes Construction for many years. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan who enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing PlayStation with his grandson. Mr. Downes is survived by his wife, Doris June Downes (Gastiger) of Glen Burnie; step-children, Dwayne F. Heimiller of Baltimore, Cynthia Hildt of Glen Burnie, Harry Lauder Heimiller, III of Brooklyn Park; brothers, John P. Downes of Glen Burnie, Francis L. Downes of Baltimore, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Glover is preceded in death by his son, Glover M. Downes, Jr. and sister, Deborah A. Downes.
