Granville "Bob" Robert Smith, Jr.

Granville "Bob" Robert Smith, Jr. passed away August 18, 2014. Born in Baltimore to the late Granville Robert and Florence Virginia Smith (nee Kerns). He served in the Marine Corps until retirement and also worked for the Baltimore Police Department until he retired. Bud was a member of the Marine Corps League, American Heart Association, Severn United Methodist church where he was very active and he taught classes for the Red Cross. He enjoyed swimming, yard work and photography. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Norma M. Smith (nee Pridgen) of Hanover; daughters, Teresa M. Tapp and her husband Robert of Linthicum, Barbara A. Smith of Baltimore, Robin C. Hoch and her husband Gordon of Glen Burnie; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
