Harriet Elizabeth Brenton

Harriet E. Brenton (nee: Long), 88, resident of Glen Burnie for 58 years, died peacefully at home January 5. Born November 1, 1925 to the late Robert F. and Mae (nee: Sullens) Long in Baltimore, Md. Harriet loved being a grandmother first then bingo. She also had a love for knitting, baking, cards with her girlfriends and the Casino. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brenton. She is survived by one son, Robert C. Brenton and wife Susan of Glen Burnie; four daughters, Sue C. Brenton of Dagsboro, De, Lou Ann Daniels and husband Ted of Woodbine, Kathy Lynn Hirsch of Severna Park, Bonnie Kowalski and husband Steve of Severna Park; two brothers, Clifford Long and Robert Long; sister-in-law, Carolyn Long; brother-in-law Sam Bratton; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
