Helen L. Childs

On May 10, 2011, Helen L. Childs of Linthicum passed away. She was 83.  Beloved wife of Guy Elwood Childs Jr. for 62 years; Devoted mother of Kenneth E. Childs, Nancy L. Sala, Judith A. Childs, Barbara J. Kinsey, Susan B. Goralski and Sharon K. Matula; Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 5. She was predeceased by her brothers William, Robert and Howard "Archie" Romberger and her sisters Virginia Lancaster and Martha Abigill.

Helen was a very active member in her church and belonged to various groups within the church. She was also a member of WELCA, the Ferndale Garden Club and the Womens Club of Linthicum.  Helen was an avid reader and also enjoyed sewing, quilting, bird watching and her herb and flower garden.  Most especially, she loved spending time with her family and dear friends.
