Henry Leopold Wauters

Henry Leopold Wauters, 85, Glen Burnie resident died peacefully at his home on September 29. Born January 31, 1929 to the late Leon and Anna (Lauers) Wauters in Custor, Ohio. Henry was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged from the Army on his birthday in 1953 and on February 7, 1953 married "his love". He retired from Westinghouse as an Inspector, moved to Delaware with "his love" and returned back to Maryland in 2012 to be with the family. He loved trains, especially the train gardens in the house, hunting and wood working; making things for the family. He is preceded by his parents; son, Mark Anthony Wauters; daughter, Ann Marie Thomas; sister, Evelyn Gozdowski. Henry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lorraine (Gerhardt); son, Dale Francis Wauters of Pasadena; daughters, Donna Jean Wauters Swarthout of Parkville, Janet Lea Livingston of Pasadena; brother, William Dibling; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
