Hilda A. Heckner

Hilda A. Heckner, a lifetime resident of Anne Arundel County, passed away on April 7, 2016.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Frederick and Annie (nee Bussey) Heckner on January 25th of 1933.  Hilda worked for the Federal Government for over 30 years and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, going to Bible Study and her “Lunch Bunch”.  Hilda is survived by her sister, Helen Margaret Wagner of Glen Burnie; nephew, James Wagner of PA; nieces, Wendy Sunderman of Hawaii, Linda Wagner of Glen Burnie; great nieces and nephews, Ginger Miner, George Wagner III, Abbey Ferreira, Evan Sunderman, Austin Sunderman, James Wagner and Kyle Wagner.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Heckner and nephew, George Wagner, Jr.

Friends and family may pay their respects at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road, Linthicum, Maryland on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6-9pm.  Funeral Service to be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Friday, April 15th 10:00 AM.  Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery to follow service.
