Howard W. Manny Henry, Sr., born August 18, 1938 in Glen Burnie and a lifetime resident. Mr. Henry was a steel fabricator with MacNamara Fabricators until his retirement at age 64.  Most recently he worked at the PAPA Auto Parts Store in Glen Burnie. A family man, Manny enjoyed caring for his yard and planting flowers, Building furniture and doing projects around his home. Children in the neighborhood came to him to fix their bikes and his neighbors counted on him to help keep their cars running. He was described by his family as the Mr. Rogers of the neighborhood. He also enjoyed dancing, family cookouts and any other activities that allowed him to spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife Janet V. Henry (nee Branham) and his children Howard W. Manny Henry, Jr., Deborah Dusty Lauer, Patricia Burkett and Kathleen Jane Smoot, all of Glen Burnie, Judy Kelly of Delaware and the late Brenda Ross. Manny is also survived by step-children Patricia Ann Joran of Ocean Pines, Cindy Lee Wilder of Dundalk, Maragaret J. Lambert, Leroy P. and John A. Wilder, all or Glen Burnie. He is also survived by his 20 adoring grandchildren and 15 great-grands and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.
