Ida Carrie Willis

Ida Carrie Willis., 89, a resident of Linthicum Heights Maryland for over 70 years and Southport, North Carolina for the last two years, died peacefully September 28 with her son Glenn by her side. Born February 21, 1929 to the late John Henry and Helen E. (Uttemeither) Naumann in Baltimore, Md. Ida was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was the true talent in the family with her needlework and crafts which are still on display in her home. Many people refer to her as a pistol with a great mind and sense of humor. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Glenn William Willis of North Carolina and grandson, Ryan Hewes of Baltimore. She is preceded by her husband William Everett Willis Jr: son, Robert Henry Willis; daughter, Deborah Carol Hewes; sisters, Helen Borrell, Shirley Darby, Delores Evans and brother Johnny.
