Imogene B. Taylor

December 12, 1927 — March 29, 2012

Born Imogene B. Bradford on December 12, 1927 to Grover C. and Myrtle Bradford (nee Love) in Dora, Alabama. She lived in Pasadena for most of the 58 years she lived in Maryland after moving from West Virginia. A nurse at Harbor Hospital, she attended the South Baltimore General Hospital School of Nursing and helped when the hospital moved from Charles Street to it's present location on Hanover Street. An active member of Grace Baptist Church in Pasadena, she belonged to the Prayer Chain at the church for over 20 years. She alao belonged to the Guidepost Bible Club. She loved singing and recording gospel music and was especailly fond of bluegrass gospel. She also was an avid player of Farmville on Facebook where she had many friends. In addition to her parents Imogene was preceeded in death by her son Ronald L. Taylor, Sr. Survivors include her husband Edmond E. Taylor of Pasadena, her daughters Judith A. Ramey of Pasadena, Anita Hopkins and Jayne Tribett, both of Glen Burnie and Ginger Smith of Brooklyn. She is also survived by brother Ollie G. Bradford of Odenton and sister Dillion D. Johnson of Glen Burnie, 11 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully in her home on March 29 after a brief illness.
