Irma M. Burkowske

Born Irma M. Hobbs in Morrell Park on November 24, 1922 to Virgil and Sadie Hobbs (nee Ward). Raised in Baltimore, she moved to Glen Burnie in 1949. She worked as a technician in the Testing Dept. at Westinghouse for 38 Years. Irma enjoyed dancing, Shopping, trips to the beauty shop, having meals with friends and she enjoyed travel in earlier days. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband John H. Burknowske. She is survived by her dear friends Diane Campbell and Carliss Reese and by their families. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors who enjoyed spending time with her.
