Jack W. Smith

Jack W. Smith was born on May 11, 1945 in Laurel, MD to the late John W. and Clara Hendershot Smith and has lived in Northern Anne Arundel County for 50 years. Mr. Smith proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969.  During his working life he was an amusement vendor, installing and servicing juke boxes and gaming machines. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring older machines, listening to music, old cars, watching football and boxing.  In addition to his parents Jack is preceded by his sister Jean Peters. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Diana L. Fields Smith, sons Philip A. Smith of Virginia and Scott R. Smith and his wife Jhoanne Smith of Glen Burnie and grandchildren James Smith, Kaitlyn Ryan and Valentia Lockner as well as great-grandchild Julian Smith.  Mr. Smith passed away peacefully at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after being in declining health for some time.
