James Edward Amend

James Edward Amend died suddenly at his home on January 15, 2022. He was born in Baltimore City to Michael Edward Amend, Sr., and Phyllis Verniece (Robl) Amend. James graduated in 1998 from Chesapeake High School in Pasadena. He was an entrepreneur and a "go getter" at a very young age, even having a Halloween trail set up in the woods for people. In 2001, he graduated from the Federal Police Academy; one of the youngest ever to do so. He was a Federal Police Officer for the Naval Academy and then later obtained his CDL. James loved life and was always taking care of others. He had a love for painting, sketching, cooking, and traveling. His greatest love was for his family and his precious pet cat CJ that he adored. He will be missed by many.

James is preceded by his father, Michael Edward Amend, Sr.; his brother, Michael Edward Amend, Jr and his grandparents, Charles and Thurma Robl. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Verniece (Robl) Amend; brother Michael John Amend; sister of his heart, Carrie Jones; uncle, Charles (Barbara) Robl; aunt, Denise (Gary) Bavaria and a host of friends.
