On February 16, 2009 James Patrick Flanary of Glen Burnie passed away. Beloved son of Glenda Chaney (nee Minton) and the late John Paul Flanary Sr.; Caring step-son of Greg A. Chaney; Loving brother of John Paul Flanary Jr. and step-brother of Jeffrey D. Chaney; Cherished grandson of James and Gladys Minton, Pauline Flanary and the late Leon Flanary.
James enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, four wheeling and camping.
