James Francis Gehring

Mr. James Francis Gehring was born in Baltimore on June 13, 1929 to the late Frank and Eleanor Gehring. Mr. James Gehring proudly served in The United States Army during World War II. He worked as a Field Engineer for Bendix Corporation. In his free time, James enjoyed taking walks, painting, doing carpentry and loved to read. He also looked forward to his daily trips to Walmart with his grandson.

Mr. James Francis Gehring peacefully at home on February 7, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his first wife Hazel V. (Brooks) Gehring, second wife Catherine Joan Gehring, daughter Nancy Ann Gehring, son Mark Ronald Gehring, and sister Gloria F. Kane. Those left to cherish his memory are his son James Francis Gehring, Jr. of Burlington, West Virginia, grandson Dan Gehring of Baltimore, Maryland and girlfriend Joyce Reggi.

Due to current circumstances, there will be a graveside service at 11:30am on Monday, February 22nd at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
