James W. Johnston

September 28, 1956 — September 26, 2021

Pasadena

James Woodrow Johnston was born on Friday, September 28, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland to Mary (Mueller) Johnston. James was raised by his Uncle and Aunt, Bill and Mildred Wiley. He was a Maryland resident his entire life and was a telecommunications technician. In his earlier years, he was a part of a baseball team, "the over the hill gang", which played for beers, he really enjoyed those years. He loved the TV show M.A.S.H., was a Trump FAN, a true republican and loved helping people. He was also a grease monkey who had a love for cars, his sparkle blue 1965 Chevelle was his joy and the Dodge Ram came later on. James had a love for cruising the oceans on a ship or taking a road trip, 6 national parks out West was the most recent. All of this he did love but nothing compared to the love he had for his family, especially his two grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife, Anna Marie (Badger) Johnston of Pasadena; his daughter, Melanie Ann Harris (Dave) of Pasadena; his siblings, Donnie Johnston (Sue) of Severn and Joseph A. Johnston (Jurai) of North Carolina and his two grandchildren, Samantha Harris and Nathan Harris.
